Qualifications
I have an M.Sc. in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am a member of IACP.
I also hold a M. Ed in Adult Education and have also worked in third-level colleges for over twenty years. I am well placed to support students who are finding the new world of third-level education an anxious transition.
Professional Counseling Services to Support Your Well-being
I am here to help with issues such as anxiety, stress and grief.
My philosophy in the room is to create a safe environment where clients can explore their issues and be heard in the process. I have a strong belief in the narrative nature of the therapeutic process, putting the client’s needs at the centre of all he does. I work with clients who are suffering from anxiety, trauma and grief.
My counselling philosophy is to see each person in a nonjudgmental and compassionate way and recognise that everyone has their own story. I see therapy as a healing process that can take time and patience, where the alliance between client and therapist supports that process.
While therapy is a powerful tool for growth, I am a limited service. If you require immediate support outside of our scheduled sessions, please contact the professional organisations listed below.
